Damon Industry Supports the New Energy Sector’s Renewal and Growth
Release Time:2025-05-21

Since 2020, sales of new energy vehicles have continued to grow explosively, and the power battery industry—one of the key component suppliers—has also seen strong development. Currently, the new energy sector is transitioning from its initial phase of rapid and rough expansion toward greater standardization, regulation, and integration. This shift is reflected in a healthy downward trend in on-site issues. However, as time passes, components begin to age. On some high-traffic production lines, many parts are already approaching the end of their service life. This is especially true for early-production stage sites, where maintenance departments are now increasingly faced with the challenge of replacing aging parts.

What’s even more frustrating is that on-site Mechanical Engineers (MEs) have to overcome various tricky challenges. Take rollers as an example: they may find a mix of different brands, or that the parts are out of warranty and must be purchased independently—sometimes even unavailable at all. On top of that, there’s uncertainty about whether replacement products will be compatible.

To address these customer pain points, Damon Industry has developed its own set of response procedures:

Step1Ask for Input

After receiving the product replacement request, Damon's technical personnel will first coordinate with the on-site manager to gather basic information, such as product type and the original product brand. If it is a replacement with the same brand, the process can be handled quickly.

Step2On-site inspection

Due to the large number of manufacturers in China, roller products from different manufacturers vary to different extents in terms of configuration, structure, and product performance. This results in difficulties in conducting theoretical assessments for mechanical installation and application compatibility during the roller replacement process.

To address this, Damon Industry can dispatch professional technical support personnel to the site to conduct a thorough inspection and assessment, and provide a comprehensive roller replacement solution based on the actual on-site conditions.

Step:3Avoid risks

Based on extensive product usage experience, Damon Industry’s technical personnel identify potential application risks and provide optimization suggestions to eliminate or mitigate them.

For those risks that cannot be fully eliminated, in order to further ensure the suitability of the replacement rollers, the technical team will produce samples according to the replacement plan developed through site inspection and internal discussions. After deploying the samples at the end-user site, adjustments are made based on actual usage conditions.

Step4Fill in the gaps

To maximize the service life of on-site products, after assisting with the replacement work, Damon Industry also conducts detailed inspections of other roller conveyor lines at the site. Potential factors that may affect the normal operation of rollers are quickly identified, and targeted solutions are provided.

At present, Damon Industry has completed or is undertaking roller replacement projects for several of the top three domestic new energy battery manufacturers, receiving positive feedback from end users!

Although equipment has its service life, our pursuit of excellence is eternal. Damon Industry’s technical team is deeply engaged on-site, providing comprehensive technical support and services, injecting new momentum into the development of the new energy industry, and helping it “revitalize and renew ”.
