Belt conveyor is one of the indispensable parts of e-commerce and logistics equipments. The stability of belt conveyor mainly depends on the quality of belt conveyor roller.

In March, 2017, good news came from Damon Industry Technology Center that the quality of belt conveyor roller (internal bearing) has been improved.

This improvement has achieved two desired goals:

1.    Reduce noise generated by vibration in operation. Damon Industry controlled tolerance precision of shaft outer ring so that the match clearance between conveyor roller and shaft not only meets performance requirements but also reduce roller noise without influencing assembly.

2. Prevent the risk of shaft abrasion. Damon Industry adjusted technology and optimized the structure, leading to good coordination of shaft and bearing to reduce or prevent the risk of shaft abrasion.

To verify the optimized quality, Damon Industry investigated the actual application in many logistics distribution center such as SF-express, Jingdong, YTO Express with practical experience. Damon Industry matched the shaft with bearing gear and designed h7 tolerance grades with actual processing ability. Such precision will not have a negative effect on application verified by long time practice. There are no restrictions during assembly process.

Not only will on-site assembly go smoothly with common tools but it will reduce the risk of engine off after operation damage to reassure our customers.
